Preventive and minimally invasive treatments started before issues arise are always the most affordable and effective, so though it may sound strange to take an in-depth tour of your mouth when you feel things are stable, learning about signs of instability can be beneficial and everything you learn about is included in your standard exam! If Dr. Davis schedules you back for a longer fact-finding visit to learn more about you and your teeth know that there is seldom any additional cost for this! Porcelain Crowns
The more we can replicate the shape and size of your adult tooth as it was originally formed the better, luckily there have been advances that allow us to be more conservative than ever before! In the last year well below 1% of the crowns we have completed conservatively have come off or needed root canals, and that includes dozens of crowns on teeth that were symptomatic and most dentists would take out. Not a single tooth treated conservatively has been lost. Those results are unheard of! We use a process unique to our office where you receive your new crown the same day or the next day after your first visit. Your crown will be completed conservatively (much more like a veneer for your tooth than a crown that you are used to) and your new tooth will be beautifully natural looking without the opaque or opalescent appearance of a more invasive crown you will find elsewhere. Invisalign and Orthodontics
Invisalign® is a modern alternative to straighten your teeth without wires or metal. Invisalign® involves a series of custom trays designed specifically for you. The trays are made from a smooth plastic that covers your teeth and gradually moves them into place.
Why have your work done by Dr. Davis? All of the vital work on your teeth will be done by Dr. Davis himself, not by an assistant. Every orthodontic case, if done well, involves a thorough understanding of how teeth function in a complex system, it doesn’t make sense to see someone who only specializes in how to move teeth when there is so much more than that involved in comprehensive care! You can certainly see a half dozen specialists to complete exceptional care, but why not see just one that does it all? Smile Makeovers/ Veneers
A smile makeover uses cosmetic dental procedures to make you proud of your smile. We perform teeth whitening, along with other cosmetic procedures like veneers and tooth implants.
Each smile makeover is different. We start by doing a thorough examination and decide what each patient wants and needs. We look at the color of your teeth and how they are all lined up. We check to see if there are any missing teeth or if any are cracked, chipped, or broken.
Our goal is to give you a healthy and happy smile.We want you to have a bright smile, along with teeth that line up correctly and are aesthetically pleasing. We work with our patients to ensure their happiness. We will do whatever we can so that, when you leave our office, you will be completely happy with your smile.
Full Mouth Reconstruction
We recommend a full-mouth rehabilitation when patients have had severe disease impacting all of their teeth. As surprising as it may sound a full-mouth rehabilitation does not need to cost a lot, in fact, completing a full-mouth rehabilitation early can give you time to address whatever disease is degrading your teeth. We help people who are suffering from gum disease, discoloration, tooth decay, crooked teeth, and other problems, usually all at the same time.
Pictured is a full-mouth rehabilitation completed chairside with dental composites. It has been lasting well and has stopped the erosive process that was quickly degrading the teeth. We also complete full-mouth rehabilitations with crowns and implants, but it’s important to know that cost should not stop you from getting the healthy mouth you deserve!
Before we start your rehabilitation, we will need to have a fact finding appointment where we complete a comprehensive exam with detailed radiographs and records of how your teeth look and are positioned. Since every mouth is different, we create a treatment plan just for you!
All-on-4 Implants/Overdentures
All-on-4 treatment as well as Overdentures provide patients with a full-arch prosthesis over two or four implants. This can be done where the appliance goes in on the day of surgery or at a later date as the patient desires. Full mouth appliances are designed to give edentulous patients full function of their mouth and full mouth restoration. It’s heavily advertised as providing 4 implants, but some situations may require more.
Dr. Davis utilizes an advanced impression taking approach where we aim to get tight suction between a denture and a patients tissues even before attaching to the implants, improving long-term outcomes by not asking the dentures to do all of the work!
Overdentures attached to implants are often less expensive than replacing all of the teeth with individual implants, though that is an option as well.
All-on-4 and overdentures use high-end denture teeth and acrylic for the best aesthetics, often making it the most cost effective choice for a full mouth rebuild that maintains a strong bite force.

Extractions and Implants
An extraction is performed when a tooth needs to be removed because of unrestorable disease. We take great pride in predictably restoring heavily damaged teeth, so be assured if we recommend an extraction you really need it! We take great pride in preserving the shape of the original bone around even the most broken down and infected teeth. We make sure to remove your tooth carefully and painlessly (we have many options to keep things painless and to reduce your anxiety!). We then carefully form the area around where your tooth was so that the shape of the tissue around your tooth is preserved in the same shape it was prior to the tooth coming out. Ask Dr. Davis to show you some photos to help ease any anxiety you might have! (The two photos pictured were taken one week after each tooth was taken out, see how ideal the gums look already! In this case we placed implants at the same time the teeth were taken out. In a few short months these teeth will look like new!).
Implants when done after a careful extraction should end up with gums around them that look just like a natural tooth. Too often you will find around implants the gums look totally different than around a natural tooth, the challenge with this is it tends to lead to more food impaction and a worse prognosis for the new implant over the years. It’s impossible to get this level of result without seeing someone that thoroughly understands both the surgical steps necessary to achieve this results as well as the restorative materials and steps to finalize the treatment. Dentures
Our denture process is unique in the quality of the smile you will receive, the speed in which it will be done and the effectiveness you will have in chewing! Implant retained dentures are simply not an option for every patient and many patients don’t understand how well an exceptionally made denture would work for them! Even overdentures, dentures that are removable but also supported by implants, function much better when the denture is made tightly and carefully adapts to the patients oral tissues. In this video you will see how even in a patient with poor oral tissues for a denture we can achieve a tight fit with excellent retention of the denture. This denture was fabricated in 3 appointments where the second and third appointments were each shorter than 15 minutes and the patient hasn’t needed an adjustment for months after delivery. Fillings
Composite fillings fill in spaces taken up by cavities and fractures, bringing the tooth back to its original shape and appearance. This procedure can also be utilized for cosmetic improvements to the smile; fixing discolorations and reshaping chipped teeth. Dr. Davis takes great pride in his ability to bond fillings to teeth so perfectly that the transition between a filling and the tooth around it is imperceptible even in a close-up photograph. Test his skills, Dr. Davis takes a lot of photos, be sure to have Dr. Davis take a photograph of your tooth after your work is completed.
Why does it matter? A seamless transition between filling and tooth tells you the bonding is as ideal as bonding can get, keeping even the smallest bacteria from getting back into your tooth. Plus when you can’t tell where a filling starts and your tooth ends in a final photograph that’s your best indicator that the tooth is shaped naturally and a naturally shaped tooth functions better when you’re chewing! We encourage you to compare Dr. Davis’ work with previous fillings you have received, you will not need to be a dental expert to notice the difference!
